BROWARD CHILDREN'S CENTER MOTHER'S SUPPORT GROUP A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity… when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. – Washington Irving Mom’s group is a great opportunity to meet other mothers who understand your challenges and are at different stages of raising children with special needs. Join us to learn about resources and relax in a safe and supportive environment. Mom’s group meets every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:30am at the Respite Home. Weekly attendance is not required. Topics and issues may include: dealing with stress, allocating resources, taking time for yourself, coping strategies, guest speakers, and much, much more! Come talk over fresh coffee and snacks If you are interested in attending Mom’s group, please call and let us know.
